Elena’s pov

I woke up, already tired of the day and bored about everything. There wasn't any training today, so I decided to tour the pack house where I stayed.

I got up from the bed, said a little prayer to the moon goddess and then walked into my bathroom to get ready for the day. I hummed as I showered.

When I was done with my bath, I dried my body, applied lotion, and wore my underwear. I put on a black jean and a black t-shirt which was big for me but that's how I liked it.

As I walked out of the room, my face collided with someone, the person's chest—-firm but soft.

As I massaged my head from the little pain the Collision brought “ouch….watch where you are going!”

“I think you should say that to yourself”

I looked up to see Lucas with a smile on his face, I rolled my eyes as I shoved past him walking down the hall and he quietly followed behind.

“Why are you even here? We have no trains today!” I inquired as he smiled gently at me which made me a little uncomfortable.

Elena’s POVThe hallway seemed quiet as I walked back to my room, yet Lucas’s words stayed with me. “I’ll always be watching, ready to defend you.” A chill ran down my spine. I couldn’t tell if it was meant to be comforting or unsettling, but either way, it was strange.Shaking off the thought, I decided to continue my exploration of the pack house. There was an area I hadn’t been to yet, tucked away down a narrow, dimly lit corridor. I had heard whispers from the other pack members—something about an old archive room. It sounded intriguing.I walked down the hallway, my curiosity building. Just as I turned the corner, a familiar figure stepped into view. It was Chloe, Oliver’s sister. She hadn’t noticed me, but her intense gaze was locked on something hidden at the end of the hallway. For a split second, I saw a glimmer of what looked like frustration—or was it fear? Before I could make sense of it, Chloe turned around, her eyes narrowing as she caught sight of me. “Elena,” she said

Elena’s POVThe chill of the morning air was nothing compared to the storm of emotions brewing inside me. After yesterday’s confrontation with Chloe and my conversation with Lucas, I felt more trapped than ever. The realization of Oliver’s hold on my life was becoming a suffocating weight, and each glance from the pack members only deepened the feeling of isolation.I wandered through the forest surrounding the pack grounds, needing space to think. But no matter how far I went, it seemed that Oliver was always there, lingering in the shadows of my mind. The guilt in his gaze, the attempts to “protect” me—it all felt too little, too late. What I needed was clarity, freedom, and a chance to decide for myself. The rustling of leaves pulled me from my thoughts. I turned, seeing Lucas making his way toward me, his usual calm smile in place.“Didn’t expect to find you here,” he said, his tone light. “You’ve been quiet since yesterday.”I shrugged, not meeting his eyes. “Sometimes quiet is n

Elena’s POVThe moonlight streamed through my window as I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. Beauty’s words echoed through my mind, each one tugging at my curiosity like a thread unraveling. Spells, secrets, prisoners… the hidden room at the end of the hallway suddenly felt like the epicenter of everything strange about this place. If there were prisoners in the pack house, held under some kind of spell or restraint, what did that mean for everyone here—and for me?I tossed and turned, my mind racing, until sleep became impossible. Sitting up, I glanced at the clock. It was just past midnight, the pack house cloaked in silence. Maybe it was the darkness of the night or the thick shroud of mystery hanging over me, but a new resolve blossomed within me. I had to find out what was behind that door. Beauty’s warning lingered in the back of my mind, but I knew I couldn’t ignore the mystery any longer.Quietly, I got out of bed, throwing on a light jacket and slipping into my shoes. I open

Elena’s POVThe days following my confrontation with Oliver passed in a blur. I threw myself into tasks around the pack, desperate to distract myself from the storm of emotions that brewed every time I thought of his words. His admission of regret, of realizing he’d made a mistake, had stirred emotions in me I wasn’t ready to face. The pack sensed my unease, though they never spoke about it. Only Beauty dared to approach me with genuine concern, offering her silent companionship in the moments I felt close to breaking. It was comforting, having her nearby—a reminder that I wasn’t as alone as I sometimes felt. One late afternoon, as I sat on the hill overlooking the forest, Beauty appeared beside me, a gentle smile on her face. “You’ve been so lost in thought lately, Elena. Is everything alright?”I let out a sigh, looking out over the trees. “It’s complicated, Beauty. I thought I’d moved on, that I’d buried the pain. But then Oliver…” I hesitated, my voice trailing off.Beauty didn’t

Elena’s POVThe days following my conversation with Oliver were an emotional labyrinth. I went about my duties, often finding solace in Beauty’s quiet presence, yet I felt his gaze lingering whenever we crossed paths. He kept his distance as promised, but it was clear he hadn’t given upon proving himself. And despite my resolve, part of me felt drawn to him, haunted by what we had once shared and what he claimed to regret. One morning, as dawn broke over the pack lands, Lucas found me near the edge of the forest, collecting herbs Beauty had shown me. His expression was softer than usual, an unusual vulnerability in his eyes.“Elena,” he said, clearing his throat. “Can we talk?”I glanced up, surprised by his tone. “Of course.”He hesitated before speaking, his gaze locked on the forest. “I’ve been by Oliver’s side through everything—the battles, the decisions, even the mistakes. I thought I understood him completely, but lately…” His voice trailed off, and he let out a heavy sigh. “La

Elena’s povI woke up the next morning, the talk I had with Oliver still rings deep in my head. I ran my hand through my head, sat on my bed waiting for it to actually pass by but it didn't. I had training today and I couldn't sit here forever. I picked up myself and walked to the bathroom to freshen up. When I was done with it, I quickly dried my body and walked out of the bathroom with my towel tied to my body. I stopped on my tracks when an unexpected person was found casually sitting on my couch——Chloe. What was she doing here? Did she hear about the conversation between me and her brother? No one in the pack knows what's going on between us as we have both kept our distance since I disappeared.I tried to avoid situations that would earn me his attention because rumors were already spreading that he had Lucas—the number one fighter in the pack as my personal bodyguard. A Choking gaze landed on me, she gave me a smile which brought out her dimples. I won’t lie, it made her more

Elena’s POVThe rest of training went smoothly, but I couldn’t shake off the weird feeling from my earlier encounter with Chloe. Beauty’s words lingered in my head — “She’s been planning Hailey’s marriage to Oliver since forever.” It made sense now why Chloe had shown up this morning, asserting her dominance and subtly reminding me of her place in the pack. She didn’t need to say it outright; her body language did the talking. After the session ended, I was gathering my things when Lucas approached me again. His dark eyes softened as he looked down at me, and I couldn’t help but notice the way he always seemed on guard, always watching.“Hey,” he said, almost too casually. “Walk with me for a moment?”I hesitated, glancing around. “Is this… about earlier?”Lucas nodded. “There’s something you need to know. Chloe isn’t one to mess around. She’s fiercely loyal to her own agenda, and right now, that agenda includes securing a marriage for Hailey with Oliver. You being here — you’re a thr

Elena’s POVThe next morning came far too quickly. It all swirled in my head like a storm I couldn’t escape. When I arrived at the training grounds, the atmosphere felt different. Whispers followed me as I walked, curious eyes darting my way. Chloe’s influence was unmistakable. No doubt her visit and my conversation with Oliver had sparked rumors.I squared my shoulders and ignored them, trying to focus on my training. Beauty was already there, bouncing on the balls of her feet, her ever-present energy contagious.“Ready to show them what you’re made of?” she asked, grinning as I joined her.“Always,” I replied, forcing a smile. But as the session began, I noticed Chloe’s friends lingering nearby, their eyes fixed on me like predators circling their prey. Every step I took, every move I made, felt like it was under scrutiny. I

Elena’s POVThe next morning, I woke to a soft warmth on my cheek. My eyes fluttered open, and I found Oliver sitting beside me, his hand gently caressing my face. His touch was tender, as if he feared I might vanish.“Morning, my Luna,” he said softly, his voice a soothing melody to my troubled mind.I sat up slowly, rubbing my eyes. The weight of yesterday’s emotions still lingered, but his presence calmed the storm within me. “Morning,” I replied, my voice laced with sleep.Oliver handed me a cup of tea, his usual routine when he stayed the night. It was one of the little things he did that made me feel like I belonged in his world, even though I still doubted it at times.“I have a meeting with the council today,” he informed me as I sipped the warm brew. “They’re pressing for answers about the traitor and the attacks. I need you to be cautious, Elena. If the mole gets desperate, they might act rashly.”I nodded, understanding the gravity of his words. “I’ll be careful. But Oliver

Elena’s povI stood by the balcony as my mind went on wondering what was going on in the pack. I have not yet been bonded to Oliver but it was crazy. Sure, the people see me as their Luna and even call me Luna but it was yet an official title. Chloe and Hailey were making sure about that!I was beyond frustrated—-from the war to the impending danger of the pack, to the traitor or mole hidden within the ranks. I had tried to snoop around but things didn't go exactly as planned. Luckily—-the only good thing to come out of this was that Lucas was healed, not fully, but he was making a very quick recovery.I felt a hand placed on my shoulders and I quickly knew who it was—-as only his touch could make my heart skip a million beats.“Hey….what are you doing here?” Oliver asked, I turned to him and hugged him tight. “I'm sorry….” I apologizedI could feel the confusion he felt through the bond, he pulled me back, staring into my eyes “What are you apologizing for?”I threw my face away,

Third povElena’s instincts bristled as Chloe’s parting words lingered in her mind, sharp and unsettling. The air in the packhouse felt heavier, as though suspicion itself had seeped into its walls. She couldn’t shake the feeling that Chloe was hiding something, but the question was what—and why.The library door creaked shut behind Chloe, and Elena exhaled slowly. The confrontation had been subtle, a game of unspoken words and veiled intentions, but it had confirmed one thing: Chloe was no innocent observer in the pack’s recent turmoil.Elena gathered her thoughts and returned to her quarters, where Oliver was waiting, his brows knit in concentration over a map of the pack’s territory.“You’re late,” he remarked without looking up, his voice laced with concern.“I ran into Chloe,” she replied, crossing the room to stand beside him.His head snapped up, hazel eyes narrowing. “What did she say?”“She was… cryptic,” Elena admitted. “She mentioned the pack’s future, but it felt more like

Third povThe morning after the battle arrived slowly, dragging its weight through the packhouse like an unwelcome guest. The faint golden light seeping through the curtains did little to lift the heaviness that lingered in the air. Even the forest seemed muted, as though it too, was recovering from the violence it had witnessed.Elena stood by the bedroom window, her fingers tracing idle patterns on the frosted glass. She had barely slept, her mind replaying the events of the previous night in an endless loop. The rogue Alpha’s lifeless eyes, the blood-soaked ground, the traitor’s betrayal—all of it churned within her, refusing to be silenced.Behind her, Oliver stirred, the rustling of sheets breaking the quiet. She turned to find him sitting up, his hazel eyes dark with fatigue.“You didn’t sleep,” he said, his voice hoarse.“Neither did you,” she replied softly. He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair. “It’s hard to rest when you know there’s a snake in the grass.”She no

Elena’s POVThe aftermath of battle was always heavy with emotion, a strange mix of relief and despair. As the last rays of sunlight dipped below the horizon, casting the battlefield in an eerie twilight, the stench of blood lingered in the air, mingling with the quiet groans of the injured.Oliver’s arm was still wrapped tightly around me as we walked back to the packhouse. His warmth and strength anchored me, even as the adrenaline of the fight began to fade.“Are you hurt?” he asked, his voice low and rough from exhaustion. His sharp eyes scanned me, lingering on the shallow claw marks on my arm.“It’s nothing,” I replied, brushing it off. “You’re the one who looks like he went ten rounds with a rogue Alpha.”He chuckled softly, though the sound was strained. “I’ve had worse. Still, I can’t believe you disobeyed me, Elena.”I opened my mouth to retort, but he stopped abruptly, pulling me close so we were face to face. His expression was serious, his hazel eyes searching mine.“You

  • Mated To The Rejected Omega    Chapter 37

Elena’s POVThe silence after Daniel’s departure was deafening. I paced the room, each step echoing against the wooden floor as Beauty’s wide, tear-filled eyes followed my movements. My bond with Oliver throbbed faintly—still there, but the pain I’d felt moments ago had left an ominous shadow. I clenched my hands into fists, forcing myself to remain calm.“Elena, please sit,” Beauty begged, her voice trembling. “You’re making me more nervous.”I paused, taking a deep breath to steady my racing thoughts. Sitting wasn’t an option. The growing unease in my chest demanded action, but I was trapped, bound by Oliver’s order to stay here.“You don’t understand, Beauty,” I murmured, my gaze fixed on the window. The forest stood still, deceptively peaceful. “When you’re bonded, you feel everything. Pain, fear, even—” I stopped, swallowing hard. “Even death.”Her hand flew to her mouth, stifling a gasp. “Don’t say that! He’s strong, Elena. He’ll come back.”I nodded, forcing a tight smile, but

  • Mated To The Rejected Omega    Chapter 36

Elena’s POVThe peaceful warmth of the night lingered even as the first light of dawn began to peek through the heavy curtains. Oliver lay beside me, his features softened in sleep. He looked so different like this—vulnerable, unburdened. My fingers itched to trace the lines of his jaw, but I stopped myself, not wanting to disturb the rare moment of calm. The responsibilities of the pack would soon weigh on us again, but for now, I allowed myself the indulgence of watching him. My heart ached with a quiet joy, a feeling I hadn’t dared to dream of before. But as much as I wanted to stay in this cocoon of safety, the world outside wouldn’t wait. I slipped out of bed, careful not to wake him, and wrapped myself in a soft robe. The fire had burned down to embers, the room still faintly warm.Padding quietly to the window, I pulled back the curtain just enough to peer outside. The horizon was streaked with soft pink and gold, the forest bathed in an ethereal glow. It was beautiful, but the

Elena’s POVThe soft glow of candlelight filled Oliver’s private chambers as I entered, my steps hesitant yet drawn toward the warmth he radiated. After the chaos of the past few days, this space felt like an oasis, separated from the weight of duty and danger.Oliver stood by the window, his tall frame illuminated by the pale moonlight. His back was to me, but I could feel his tension even from across the room. He was always strong for everyone else, carrying the burdens of the pack on his shoulders, but tonight, I could sense that weight pressing down on him.“Oliver,” I called softly, my voice breaking the silence. He turned to face me, his eyes tired but softening as they met mine. “Elena,” he said, his tone filled with relief. He crossed the room in long strides, reaching for me as though he needed to confirm I was really there. His hands cupped my face, his thumbs brushing lightly against my cheeks. “Are you okay?” he asked, his gaze searching mine.I nodded, placing my hands ov

Elena’s POVThe infirmary was eerily quiet as the chaos outside settled. The muffled cries of the injured and the hurried whispers of healers were all that remained of the earlier battle. I sat beside Lucas’s bed, my mind still racing with everything that had happened. He was pale but stable, his breathing shallow as he rested. The image of his bloodied body being carried in by Oliver haunted me. The battle had been brutal, and while I knew this wasn’t the first time Lucas had fought to protect the pack, seeing him like this tore at my heart. His earlier confession echoed in my mind, and I couldn’t shake the weight of his words.“Elena?” Oliver’s voice broke through my thoughts.I looked up to find him standing in the doorway, his shirt torn and stained with blood—not all of it his own. His face was grim, exhaustion evident in his every movement.“How is he?” he asked, stepping closer.“The healers say he’ll be okay,” I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. “But it’ll take time.”
