Chapter 47

Hazel's POV

I watched as Lorena carried Kaya and they disappeared up the stairs to Kaya's room. I was now alone with Ryder and Logan and Ryder was glaring at me in disgust. I glared at him too and he turned away; I could hear a low growl rumbling in his throat.

"Logan, I have been away for a while. I really don't understand what is happening. And trust me, I would really appreciate if you clear things up for me."

He stared from Logan to me and back to Logan. Lorena was right. He really was a jerk.

"Well, where should I start from?" asked Logan, in defeat.

"From the beginning would be a good place. Like, for instance, who is she?"

He turned to me and I stared at him in defiance. I could sense a tone of disappointment in his voice.
