Chapter 137

Hazel’s POV

We carried Lorena’s limp body into the car and laid her on the seat. Her blood stained the chairs a terrible crimson and her skin was losing its color.

“Logan! Hurry! She’s dying!”

I couldn’t help the tears in my eyes. Lorena and her baby’s life were slipping through my hands.

Logan sped off and Jasper and Cassie followed us closely behind in Jasper’s car.

I felt Lorena’s pulse and it was weak. The bleeding still continued and I had no idea how to stop it. I had never felt so helpless before.

“Lorena, stay with me. Don’t go. Just stay alive.”

I patted her cheek to make sure that she was still awake and she groaned weakly.

Logan drove recklessly and was running red lights. The situation had us all tense.

Soon the hospital was just ahead and Logan swerved into the parking lot and came to a screeching halt.

He jumped out of the car and ran into the hospital and in a few minutes, he came back with nurses and a stretcher.

“Ma’am please get out of the way. We will handle this.”
