“What the heck did you just say?” He asked, glaring daggers at her.

“Let's ditch school and have fun.” Selene repeated and Dominic scoffed.

“You've got some nerves, Selene.” He frowned at her and looked away.

“You were the one that brought about the friendship offer stuff and now you're turning me down. I know you're stressed out and in a bad mood and I want to help you because you're my friend. Is that bad?” She asked and he became lost for words. Selene pouted cutely. “Please, just for today. I want to see what out there looks like on a normal school day.” She smiled at him.

Dominic didn't know when he smiled at her. When he realized it, he frowned immediately and cleared his throat. “Fine, but do not go too far with me. I don't like people!” He warned and she nodded excitedly, happy that he gave in.
