Apollo stood in shock, his face contorting into a frown. His eyes flickered between Dominic, who looked around helplessly and Selene, who was embarrassed that he had seen her in such a situation.

He said nothing and disappeared, causing the shock on Selene's face to vanish. She quickly moved away from Dominic.

Dominic looked at her, his expression laced with worry. “Selene, what is going on? Why do you look shocked and terrified?” he asked.

Selene sighed and forced a smile as she looked at him. “Nothing, I'm fine.” she answered, but Dominic was not convinced.

He could swear he saw her staring in a particular direction and all of a sudden, she looked shocked. He placed his hand on her shoulder. “Come on, Selene, you can tell me anything. What happened? Why did you look shocked?” he asked again.

Selene patted his hand. “Nothing, I'm fine. I just… err…remembered that I… have something to do urgently.” she stuttered and smiled at him nervously.
