“What do you have in mind?” Carson asked her.

She made him lean closer and whispered into his ears. Carson's eyes widened. He quickly shook his head.

“No! I can't be part of that. The child is innocent and shouldn't be dragged into this.” He expressed his disapproval.

“I'm not going to kill the child, Carson. I'm not that heartless. It'll just be like a note of warning to her. When she sees that the life of her precious daughter is under threat because of her relationship with Roland, she will reconsider her decision of not leaving him alone.” Nadia explained.

Carson wasn't convinced. Olivia was a child he adored so much and he wouldn't want anything to happen to her. Using her as a pawn in their game is making him look worse than he already did.

Because of his love for Annabel, he had dipped his hands into diverse dirty things that he shouldn't have.

“Olivia is just a child.” He argued.

“And so what? What's your problem, Carson? I'm not saying we should kill her. It's just a warning
