Part two: Chapter 3

GAZELLE'S POV

Just when I thought my life was going to be over, I was pulled out of the water.

I felt a heavy pressure on my chest and coughed out water. More pressure and I was spitting in more water than I even realized.

My eyes were blurry from the pool water and tears.

“Welcome back, tilapia. Looks like you're not very familiar with the water, huh?” Jeremy's mocking tone triggered something in me.

“Look, everyone, the Zilli is out and wait…” his eyes shifted to me and amusement flashed in them. “Oh, look, our little fish is angry. What are you going to do to me, now?”

I had never felt so angry in my life. Tears burned every side of my eyes and my knuckles were turning white from so much clenching.

“Do you feel powerful?” The words fell off my lips before I could stop it. I was putting myself in more trouble but I didn't care. “Did it feel the emptiness inside you?”

His expression went sour immediately, and I could see the anger building up, but I didn't stop there.
