LORRAINE'S POV

The loud music brought me back to consciousness. My eyes opened but I could barely make out anything.

I tried to blink the dizziness away but it only made way for the persistent banging in my head.

Once my eyes were open, I realized I was in a club, but it looked upside down. And I wasn't alone.

The room had many men in it, staring hungrily at me. I panicked and tried to break free but I realized that I was dangling in the air, chained from the ceiling.

I spotted Lisa's brother on the other side, discussing with a man. I made to call him but it came out as a muffled scream because my mouth was taped.

He returned to the rest.

“Oh, you're awake. Welcome to the party, sweetheart,” he winked and my stomach sank.

This was going to be the worst day of my life. I could feel it in my bones. The situation was so terrible that even my wolf was whimpering.

Yes, that is how bad it was. My nonchalant wolf couldn't even pretend to be nonexistent. I could hear her panicking in
