Alexa's Point Of View

"Where are you coming from?" He asked again as he came toward me.

"Uh..." I stuttered. I cleared my throat and took a step backward. "I just...went to the bathroom." I said and he looked at me like I was crazy.

"Bathroom? Dressed like that? What? Did you perform a song for the soaps and shower?"

I shook my head. "If that's not the case then what? And what's with the cloak?"

I hummed as I scratched my head for a lie. "It's new!" I blurted out.

"What?"

"Raya brought in new sets of cloaks for me so I thought I should try them out and walk around the palace with it."

"Since when do you fancy flaunting your... cloaks?"

"Um..."

"Alexa?" He called as he came closer. I kept taking steps back until my back hit the wall. He leaned his hand against the wall and moved his face closer to mine.

His eyes searched mine and he chuckled. "I just can't figure out what you're thinking."

I batted my eye lashes in confusion. "what...what do you mean?"
