I landed in the white snow, unable to hold up my footing, I tripped and my face kissed the snow. The ice plummeted into my face, giving off the chill that sent my body rigid and a slight brain freeze. I pushed to my back and stared at the sky which was gray and dark and had tiny pieces of snow dribble from above.

I turned to my left and realized that i was in front of an open gate, most of it had been clouded with snow but it was obvious, I could see nothing further because of the fog far ahead but i could see faint traces of light. When i turned to my right, I almost jumped at the girl who was staring down at me with bright blue eyes. I pushed away, giving myself a gap from the girl who had blue eyes and when she tucked a strand of hair away from her face to the back of her ears, i realized that they were white.
