“ Last night, The Shadow Claw pack had stayed in the neighboring city and they’d be returning to their own territory and their way is through our territory so Alpha Kael arranged this Ball for him specifically, to extend a hand of friendship. “

Selene looked at Jennie, her heart clenching at her words.

Selene looked at her knowing she had something in mind.

“ you’re not respected here. Our pack is not given the same amount of respect. They don’t consider us like them, so why don’t we leave ?”

Jennie spoke with so much confidence. So much eagerness to escape this hell.

Selene’s heart pounded in her chest. Could she escape? Did she had the strength to runaway from Kael ? Could she really face the consequences of getting caught defying Kael?

But how long was she going to live like this? How long her pack had to suffer ?
