The Luna’s Protector

The two closed their eyes and Sierra started mouthing some heartfelt prayers. The darkness that masked her closed eyes soon brightened into a blue light, followed by her subconscious creating scenes in her mind.

A beautiful place with blue snow, blue water, and light. Sierra opened her eyes to the environment created by her mind and the calming sound soothes her soul.

A soft smile escaped her lips as she put her hands down on each side, the lively smell of water and its dripping sound excited Sierra as she made a swift turn. Exploration evident in her eyes as they roam through the blue atmosphere.

While walking around the room, she saw the dying Queen in front of her and an elegant woman in front of her, attending to the queen.

Sierra took a deep breath with a searching gaze on the woman who has turned her face from view.

“Hello?” Sierra called out softly but her voice echoed throughout the room.

She gasped and covered her mouth with her hands, her bulging eyes flickering with fear.
