Nuri’s POV

It's snowing.

Tiny snowflakes fluttered like feathers in the sky, slowly falling on the square where the bodies lay, melting in the blood.

I bowed my head. Doyle and the king lay on the ground, dark red blood running from their bodies like a giant rose in full bloom.

I looked up and the Queen was curled up on the ground in pain. Her severed arm was bleeding, and in her other hand she held a bloody dagger.

My blood is on the dagger.

Her hair was messy and dirty, and she gritted her teeth and tried to crawl in my direction.

"You... You're all going to die!"

I was still clinging to a piece of floor protruding from the balcony with my injured arm. I felt my arm go numb, as if it would leave my body at any moment.

"Sibyl... Doyle..." I bellowed, grabbed an unbroken railing in the same hand that had held Doyle, and leaped hard back onto the balcony.

"Ha ha ha ha, he's dead. Sibyl will hate you. Even if you kill me today, you lose," the queen shouted hysterically.
