153 Soldiers, Let's Go Home!

William’s POV

The distant sky turned gray. The night is finally over, the sun is about to rise, and it is a new day. But whether I can see the new sun, I'm not sure. Throughout the night, I led the few remaining Capet soldiers in an effort to kill the enemy. The blade was chipped by overuse. Everyone took advantage of the war gap, picked up an intact knife in the body to continue fighting.

I gritted my teeth and cut off the head of a bear soldier. I saved the soldier from his knife. I don't know him. He might be one of the citadel guards. He smiled gratefully at me, then turned and charged at the enemy. I don't think he will live long enough to win the war because he is so badly wounded that he can't even move his left arm.
