Nuri’s POV

I sat on my horse and looked ahead at the crumbling mud walls of the town. It gives the illusion that I don't have to attack, I just have to wait for it to collapse.

This is my first time here. Before that, I had only two words for it: poverty and savagery. But I didn't think it would be so dilapidated. Beyond the Silent Hills were the three little towns. They have the same wind and sand, and the same people's livelihood. There is still more than a hundred miles between the mountain road and the city gate.
