“Is he the one who wanted to meet me?" Logan asked, staring at alpha Dickson.

“He's the one. And I am sure that both of you have an unfinished business."

“Of course we do. We have unresolved business to tend to." Logan said, turning back to Alberto.

“I'm sure you are still okay, since you have the gut to talk back." Alberto said, “If the poison starts working, I'm sure you wouldn't be standing like that running your mouth." Alberto continued, and Logan's eyebrows raised, then suddenly turned to alpha Dickson, throwing him a curious and surprising look.

“You put poison in the wine?" Logan asked, as if he was disappointed and hurt by his actions.

“I did what needed to be done, Logan." He replied, and suddenly Logan's mouth slowly curled into a smile until it finally generated into a full laughter, surprising all of them. They looked at one another questioningly, then their stares returned back to him, wondering what was happening.
