*Violet's POV*

One night, after sex, I went to bed feeling amazing. Lucas had relaxed all my nerves. He knew how to work magic on my body and I loved that about him.

I was deep in sleep and started to dream when I heard voices. They sounded familiar. I listened carefully to understand what they said but I could not. I could not even tell the difference if it was a dream or reality and so I woke up to listen more.

As I turned to my right side, I could not see Lucas. I searched for him in our house but I still could not find him. As I stood looking for him, I heard the voices again I listened carefully and heard the direction they were coming from. I followed that path and it led me out the back door, into the woods.

I had walked for almost five minutes when I decided it was not worth it and I would go back to find Lucas. I had almost turned back when I saw a bright blue light. The light looked familiar as it was coming from up ahead. I followed it.

I had followed the light for a while when it led me to the center of the woods. I cautiously stood behind some trees to observe my surroundings and that was when I noticed Lucas.

He was there, with a white bowl in his hand, blood dripping from it while he was chanting some words.

I was horrified. What could he possibly be doing? I did not want to interrupt him so I watched closely.

A few minutes had passed when a dark figure arrived. It walked straight to him and I watched them talk to each other.

"Does the girl still not know who she is?" The figure asked.

"Yes," I watched my Lucas answer.

"Good, keep it that way. She must never discover who she is or we are all doomed." The dark figure answered back.

Lucas nodded as he continued to perform his rituals. He had done it twice when the figured to ask a question.

"Have you swallowed her father's soul yet?"

Lucas said no but that he was about to do so. I watched as he lifted up a new bowl that had a light in it when something spoke to me. The same voice that had called me out of my dreams earlier.

"Violet, my daughter!! Save me!" The voice said repeatedly, the sound ringing through my brain, throwing me off balance.

I tried to resist it but it got louder and I screamed. My scream caused the figure and Lucas to notice me and in shock, Lucas dropped the light bowl to the ground.

The light bowl came crashing down and everyone watched as the light from it jumped into the sky and then entered my body.

It put me off balance and I fell. I lay on the ground and suddenly, I could feel something inside me. It kept turning and twirling inside me. I screamed for help because of the pain I was in but no one moved.

I watched in pain as Lucas and the dark figure stood, watching me. After a few seconds, the twirling stopped and I blacked out. I found myself in another land where I saw an old man. He came closer and held my shoulder. He even called me daughter.

"Violet. I thought I had lost you." He said as he hugged me. I did not know the old man but I felt a strange connection with him.

"I am your father. Alpha Solomon and his men killed us" he said as he put his finger on my forehead. A light was shining bright on my head and soon, I remembered everything. Tears rolled down my eyes as I remembered it. Alpha Solomon had killed me and while my father tried to save me, he killed my father too. He had revived me because of my powers. He wanted to trick me into believing I was an orphan and that he was helping me.

"Father," I said as tears rolled down my eyes. "Father I am so sorry" I started to cry profusely.

My father smiled. He apologized for not saving me and putting me through all that and he held me to bless me. We had spent a while together when he told me to go back.

"You must not stay in the land of the dead for more than thirty minutes or you would die," he said.

I wanted to be with him so I did not mind dying but my father refused. He said I must go back. He told me to revenge on him. He said only if I had revenge for his death and mine would I prove to him that I was ready to be the next alpha.

I nodded as I hugged him for the last time and then opened my eyes to my reality. As I opened my eyes, I saw that I was chained to a wall. Lucas was staring at me and so was his Alpha, Solomon.

Solomon spoke first.

"I see you've regained your memory. What will happen now?"

I shifted my gaze from Lucas to him.

"This is the part where I send you to my father…. " I said as I tore the chains apart and lunged toward him.

I was going to get my revenge and I was going to get it now…
