Amelia replied to Rosalie as she dusted off imaginary lint from her shoulder, "There's no need to thank me, I want the best for my daughter."

She gave a sly smile, "But if you could bring a man back..., that would be great. I do not doubt that certain wolves will be drawn to you the moment they lay eyes on you."

Rosalie shook her head in disbelief. Her mother had resumed her role as the matchmaker for her.

She cocked an eyebrow and gently brushed a strand of Rosalie's hair as she asked, "Wasn't it Alpha Alex who was being pretty friendly with you during the mating ceremony? Honey, he's got a lot going for him: he's young, powerful, and tremendously wealthy all at the same time."

"Oh, no, Mom!" Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"He is not interested in me, we are just friends, and I can't even claim that we are close friends because we have only met like...3 times in my entire life!" She let out a groan.

Her mum looked crestfallen. She bit her lower lip and asked, "Is that so? Perhaps I wa

Rosalie joined her family to offer their congratulations to the newlyweds. Rosalie bowed her head to her Alphas but refused to look at Chris, even though she was certain that he was ogling her. The realisation that he could only see her and not touch her brought her a sense of satisfaction. That must be annoying. She let out a chuckle. A congratulatory toast was offered to the newly mated pair. Everyone got to their feet, bent their heads to them, and then took a drink from their champagne glasses before standing back up. There was a short speech that included the typical things that individuals say at their wedding reception. Chris finished his thank-you speech by saying, "Thank you all for coming, the blessings you have given to me and my dear mate, Grace, as my last words to such a beautiful event, I invite you all to feast and dance all night long." Once the speech was done, Rosalie focused on the food. Because she had skipped lunch earlier in the day, she was extremely hungry.

  • Mated By Mistake   The Mistake

Alex was right. The moon shone in all its splendour. It was a full moon and gleaming in appearance. Mists of little clouds surrounded the silver orb, giving it an ethereal look. Stars sparkled like lights of heaven, dotting the dark sky. The air felt clean and fresh. Rosalie took a deep breath, and closed her eyes, enjoying the scenery that had unfolded. Alex's sudden words were the first to break the silence that had fallen between them. "I like it when you're this relaxed," he said. When she finally opened her eyes, she saw him there, standing directly in front of her. They had been walking for a long time and were now in the middle of the forest, a world apart from the commotion of the grand hall. He moved one foot in front of the other. She inadvertently knocked the towering Cherry Tree as she took a step backwards. He imprisoned her by putting his hands out on either side of her, blocking any attempts to get away. Not that she had any intention of running away. He was no longer

She was placed on the thick, fragrant grass carpet by Alex. He used his elbow as support and lay down next to her. He gave her another kiss while dominating her with his mouth angled over hers. She was further pressed into him by his hand on her breast, which he then wrapped possessively around her. His lips briefly separated from hers and left a hot path down her cheek and neck before coming back. Losing all sense, she let her body gently sway against his. Unconsciously, she rubbed her crotch on his thigh in an attempt to get some relief. Alex hiked her left leg to wrap around his hip in response to the unspoken yearning. He embraced her and anchored himself to her. He stopped kissing her, breathing laboriously, and turned to face her with grey eyes as she tore her mouth away from his, her head jerking back and forth as she felt a wave lift her entire soul. Her mind was racing. He leant forwards with his hands on the grass to either side of her head, his body was no longer touching

  • Mated By Mistake   Morning After

Rosalie awoke with a strange feeling. Safe, warm, secure, and satiated. She thought to herself with a smile as she snuggled deeper into the silk sheets, "Hmm, looks like mum got some new linen. That was one wacky dream.” She smiled lazily; her mind was so cloudy that it taunted her with hazy memories from the previous night. A pillowcase made of silk and sheets made of silk encircled her, gently brushing against her bare skin. She had never slept in silk before. She thought it would be tacky, but now she understood why it felt so good. The way it was refreshing while simultaneously keeping her warm. The texture was velvety, teasing her senses and skin. It took a while for her to take in the different surroundings. She opened her eyes a little. A different room, a nice room, soft colours and nice decor, masculine but not cold. She sat up straight and looked around wildly. It wasn't her bedroom. The truth dawned on her as the silk duvet slipped off her naked body. 'No no no! this can

  • Mated By Mistake   How to avoid your mate

Despite the soreness that was throbbing throughout her body, Rosalie compelled herself to remain awake. She had been quite patient as she waited until Alex was sound asleep. Her wolf voiced her disapproval, expressing a desire to curl up on the bed and simply sleep next to their partner. Rosalie resisted the urge to kiss her mate and instead focused her attention on gently removing his left arm from her exposed waist. She trembled as the tingling sensation left by his skin lingered on her body. He appeared to be struggling to stay asleep but, thankfully, did not fully wake up despite his efforts. She got out of bed as quietly as she could without waking anyone up. Now all that was left was for her to find something to wear that would not arouse any suspicions. She could not leave through the door, because his scent was still on her. The other members of his pack would recognise her if she went out, and they would know exactly what had happened. Her hand moved to the wound left by the

"Good morning honey, where are you going this early?" Amelia asked her daughter. Rosalie stopped and hid the keys automatically behind her back as she flashed a wide smile. "Outside to do my duty," she said quickly. Amelia stared at her as if she was accessing her. Rosalie sucked in a breath. Was she still carrying Alex's scent? Her mom arched her eyebrows and smiled. "Are you going to meet Alex? To say goodbye?" "What?" Rosalie looked dumbfounded, great! Her mom was living in a fairy tale. She decided to let it be and nodded her head a little too enthusiastically. "Aww, that's so romantic!" Amelia cooed. " I miss being young, now come on run off! He will be leaving any minute now!" Rosalie didn't bother to wait and bolted out the door. She made a quick run to the garage. She jumped into a mini copper and drove past the unsuspecting Greystone pack members as they continued to heave suitcases. She breathed out in relief as she sped along the empty highway. Her heart lurched as sh

"Baby, we have company," Grace said to Chris as she gave him a final kiss on his lips. "I'll be back baby," Grace placed a kiss on Chris's cheeks and grinned at Rosalie as she walked past them. Her body smelled heavily of his scent. Rosalie was numb, not because she was still hurt, but by the fact that they were doing it so passionately. Chris was her mate. He should have felt some reluctance. But apart from the initial coldness as claimed by Grace he had been quite willing. It made Rosalie feel better, he was as hypocritical as her! "Give me a minute, please," Chris said as he went to the bathroom in his chamber to clean himself up. Five minutes later, he came out, looking fresh in a blue shirt and black pants. He took a seat in the chair. "Alex, my friend, so tell me, what can I do for you? I hope you had a good time throughout your stay here." Alex nodded. Then he shifted his focus to Rosalie and continued speaking. "And you, dear Rosalie," Chris began, "Roger has told me that

  • Mated By Mistake   More confusion

Rosalie sobbed silently in her bedroom. She was unable to leave after being dragged in by her father. Up until this point, her mother had not talked to her. The pack was aware of her disgraceful behaviour because it had been passed about. Rosalie curled her finger uncomfortably, but she wasn't concerned about Chris or the council's approval of their mating. Alex would ultimately coax it out of them. Or he would simply carry her off. No one can stop a mated pair from being together. Her problem was something else. Alex was not a typical wolf because he held the position of Alpha. That meant that she would become the Greystone pack's Lune. How exactly was she going to handle such a large pack? She was only 18 years old! She was barely an adult and had no prior experience of taking care of Alpha duties; how could she possibly take care of a pack? She recoiled in horror at the prospect of messing something up. Her train of thinking was broken up when she heard a knock on the door. It was

After a month - As Rosalie prepared to give birth, Dr. Rachel offered reassurance and comfort to her patient. She mumbled, "Everything is going to be fine very soon." The first few hours before delivery were torturous as the babies contracted and kicked around. When Rosalie's water broke, and the excruciating pain started, she was brought to the hospital immediately. She leaned against Alex's chest, as Rachael guided her through the delivery, “Breath in, good, breathe out, that's it. Push!” she said gently. The pain was unbelievable as she held on tightly to Alex's hands. He whispered words of encouragement and support in her ears while she panted and pushed. "Alright, I can see the head now, give it one more push, Rosie," the doctor said. She was exhausted, but for the sake of her puppies, she made one more, determined effort. As soon as she heard the angelic sound of her puppy's first cries, her head flopped over Alex's shoulder in a helpless position. "It’s a boy!" Rachael said

  • Mated By Mistake   Aftermath

Martin and Grace's becoming mates were greeted with a mixed reaction. There were irate betas who felt they had been mistreated by her. A few of the girls who had their hopes dashed aspired to be Martin's mate. However, everyone accepted Grace's sincere apologies, as well as the fact that she modified her behaviour. In addition, she extended an apology to Rosalie, and as a result, the Murdoch family was reinstated to their previous roles. Within a few weeks, the Greyson mansion was brought back to its former splendour after undergoing extensive renovations. When Rosalie was in the middle of her work, Alex drew her away from her responsibilities. "What are you talking about, Alex?" She inquired anxiously as her betas chortled in amusement. “I'm sorry to bother you, but I have something to show you.” He reached for her hand in a kind manner and drew her along the hallway. “What is it?” She asked him as he covered her eyes with his hands. She laughed. “Don't speak,” he warned, as he

The audience responded with applause and cheers for their new Alpha. After reverting to his human form, Martin celebrated his success by raising his right hand. "Is there anyone who wishes to dispute my claim?" He let out a growl. Nobody came forwards. The rest of the pack showed their submission and acknowledged their new leader. Ruben, the Councilman, had a grin on his face as he asked, "Now do you realise why I had approved of this challenge?" “Yeah, things got sorted out without breaking any laws,” Marcus replied with a satisfied smile. His wrinkled face was relieved. “About the law, I need to discuss a few things about it. Guess, they need some tweaking?” Ruben said. The other councilmen looked at him puzzled. "Well, it's nothing huge, just that we should let the wolves choose their mates. It's a lot of work to find compatible mates!" Ruben started laughing, and the other members of the council soon joined in. It was high time that the outdated regulations were abandoned. **

  • Mated By Mistake   Challenging the Alpha

The five councilmen exchanged grim looks with one another because they had never been faced with a situation like this before. "It's against the rules to kill an Alpha!" The adamant statement was made by Councilman Marcus. "Yes, my brother, but we can't just let him go with some penalties because he conspired with the rogues and tried to steal another Alpha's mate. We can't do that. It constitutes a serious crime!” Ruben replied. "But the law...we are not allowed to breach the law!" Marcus was adamant about it. He adhered to the guidelines religiously and almost never deviated from them. Their attention was broken as Sebastian Anderson stormed in furious and ready to seek justice for his daughter. He slammed the door behind him as he entered the room. He uttered an angry growl as he looked at the members of the council. “I need his blood! He has hurt my daughter. Disgraced her in front of his pack!” To his amazing shock, Grace followed him in and fell on her knees, and looked up

  • Mated By Mistake   Rescued

Grace lay down on the soft mattress on her side in a foetal position. As the fresh tears ran down her cheeks, she embraced her knees to her bosom and held them there. She was able to detect the odour of blood coming from the main hall. The women and children were taken to the safe house and locked inside until the fighting subsided. She prayed anxiously for the safety of her father and Martin. She cried over her mate's stupidity. He had pushed everyone to the brink of war. She had no idea that he had been recruiting dark wolves. After the war, some packs were destroyed or scattered, which resulted in the development of several groups of renegade wolves who did not obey the council or any other order that was given to them. Whenever rogues were found, the packs would eliminate them and flush them out of the area. Dark wolves were a very powerful group of rogues, they were like a pack, but they didn’t follow the council. Chris had exposed his entire pack to danger when he began recruit

  • Mated By Mistake   In Captivity 2

"My mate is dead, please allow me to return home and mourn!" She begged him. His voice sounded disappointed as he said, "Oh, he's not dead, though I wish that he had been.” Rosalie's expression was one of bewilderment as she glanced at him. “What? How is that possible?” “What the hell do you mean? Why would Alex think that I am dead?" He smiled, “Don't you remember the vial?” She glared at him, “What vial?!” As he rose up and moved closer, he let out a chuckle. Rosalie tried to move further away from him, but the chain kept her from doing so. He gave a nervous tic with his tongue. He clicked his tongue. “This will never do,” he mused as he took a key from his pocket and removed the chain from her leg. “You're not an animal to be kept trapped, Rosie.” “THEN LET ME GO!!” She retorted. “The vial,” he continued, as if he hadn't heard her outburst. “Thomas is an excellent potion maker; he discovered an ancient potion. It can weaken the mate bond of a wolf to such an extent that the

  • Mated By Mistake   In captivity

Grace was hiding in a confined space underneath a table. She stared in shock at the slaughter that was taking place all around her. Chris had not done much more than shove her aside before running off to who knows where. Her thoughts were rudely interrupted by a low growl, and she turned to see a massive rogue staring at her. She screamed and crawled backwards, desperately attempting to escape to the other side. Her dad’s pack was backwards. They didn’t train their girls to fight. They were only trained to be trophy Lunas. He grabbed her leg and tried to pull her out. She fought against him and kicked at him, but her efforts were in vain. Suddenly, her leg was free, and the noises of Martin's wolf growling and ripping caused her to turn her head. The rogue had been seized by the neck by Martin's wolf. The rogue thrashed and turned in an attempt to throw Martin off, but Martin held his ground and increased the pressure on his neck until it broke, at which point the rogue became limp.

The Grand Dining Hall of the Grey Stone was decked out in opulent furnishings. There were a number of circular tables, each of which had the potential to accommodate ten people, and they were arranged in rows. A couple of individuals were playing an instrument or instruments in the background, including a violin and a piano. The light had been toned down to a golden tint after being dimmed. The many dishes that were kept on the tables gave out an appetising and satiating air to anyone who observed them. Rosalie stood next to Alex while wearing a glossy black gown that precisely contoured her body and drew attention to her expanding tummy. She had uneasy feelings. They had taken up positions close to the entrance of the Dining Hall and were getting ready to welcome their guests. To this point, every one of the other packs had already taken their places. Alex grabbed her hand in his and gently stroked it in an effort to put her at ease. He then released her hand. She was nervous. She b

That this would be the first time they would be doing it in their wolf form struck Rosalie as particularly poignant. Taking his fingers down the length of her dress, he looked her in the eyes with anticipation. He moved his hand to the hem of her dress and began to pull it up. She raised her hands in the air, allowing him to throw the dress to the side. He threw the dress on the ground next to a nearby boulder. Then he gave her a gentle squeeze on the buttocks of her cheek. At this point in time, she had begun to exhibit a more pronounced hump on her stomach. She was giggling to herself as she worked carefully to undo his buttons, but he ripped the shirt off of him before she could even finish unbuttoning it properly. While they were still in their human condition, his wolf howled at her to assert his ownership of her. She got down on her knees and began ripping his pants and boxers off of his waistband and thighs. His hands moved to her back and unclipped her bra, releasing the confi
