Adrian's POV

I could feel that I was slowly losing control as the dark magic invaded my mind wrapping around my thoughts like a poisonous vine I could feel his gaze on me but I couldn't see his face he seemed to be watching me from somewhere but I didn't know how he was doing it, it was probably because he was using dark magic to look at me from wherever he was

He probably had a mirror where he was watching me, and every time I moved, because he moved the sword far away from where it was. I was getting frustrated at this point I tried to push through getting pain my eyes still fixed on the new direction where the sword had moved to

Thanks to the goddess it wasn't far from me.

His voice began to shift, suspicion began to creep in as he asked me

"Why so many questions, little wolf? You sound far too interested in my tale", I stiffened, forcing a strained chuckle.

"I was only trying to understand the monster I am facing" I replied
