Why was he staring at her from outside if he was not hungry?

Before she could tell Roland off, he spoke, “You shouldn’t eat barbecue at such an hour. It’s not good for your digestion. You better stop eating.”

Why was he telling her what she could or could not eat? How dare he try to control her!

However, there was something about the commanding tone of his voice, coupled with the serious look on his face that made her briefly consider taking his advice.
