Chapter 588

Tracey patted Spike’s shoulder and apologized in an intentional sobbing voice, “Spike, I want to apologize. I’m so sorry. Please forgive me.”

Finally, Spike rolled over and looked at her.

He should let bygones be bygones as Tracey was his mother’s good friend.

Tracey’s eyes lit up. “Do you forgive me?”

Spike sat up and looked at Tracey like an adult. He pointed at his bare wrist.

His smartwatch was missing.

Tracey got the message. “You must be looking for your smartwatch. The doctor removed it during a check-up. Hang on. I’ll go and ask to see where it is.”

She ran out and soon returned with his watch.

“This must be it. Here you go.”

Spike took the watch and nodded.

Tracey propped her hands under her chin. “I hope you’re not angry with me anymore, Spike.”

Spike nodded and typed on his smartwatch. “I forgive you.”

Tracey was relieved. “You’re the best, Spike. Love you.”

She gestured a heart shape.

Spike typed, “Goodnight.”

“Alright. Goodnight.”
