Solomon omitted the details of Ines’ relationship with the Mullers. He also took care to not tell Patricia about the things Ines had been hiding for him in the past.

A part of it was because he thought it was unnecessary to do so. Additionally, he did not want to sour his mother’s opinion of Ines anymore.
