Mable took a sip of water and looked at Eugenie. "Thanks for today."

Eugenie sat on the edge of the bed, set down her glass, and smiled at Mable. "No problem; just let me know if you ever need help."

Mable suddenly remembered something and said, "I have something I need your help with."

"What is it?"

"I heard you have a variety of poison bases. Are there any suitable ones for interrogation?"

Mable had not forgotten that her "close brother", Jeremiah, was still locked up in the basement.

"Interrogation?" Eugenie widened her eyes in surprise. "Mable, who are you planning to interrogate?"

"Just wait for me."

Mable got off the bed, washed her face, changed her clothes, and took Eugenie to the basement.
