"Fuck you, Eros!" she screamed as she breathed heavily, feeling pain behind her. Eros leaned towards her and offered her his hand. She glared at him before holding his palm. Instead of pulling herself up with his help, she pulled him down and rolled away. Eros hit the grass and dirt, making Keisha chuckle loudly from the side. Eros glared at her before sitting down. "What? You made me fall down first," Keisha reasoned before rolling her eyes. "You're not hurt, right?" Eros had to make sure she was fine. Keisha touched her body all over and nodded her head. "You don't see any bones sticking out, do 'ya?" she joked with a laugh. "Why are you out here, anyway? There's a training room inside the mansion," he reasoned and she shrugged. "Your uncle was here a couple of minutes ago. He suffocates me," she explained and his eyebrows furrowed. He clenched his jaw before standing up. "Where is he now?" he asked with a dagger for eyes. Keisha blinked a couple of times, noticing how his tone
Keisha stroked his back slowly as she felt his tears fall on her shoulder. She listened to his muffled breathing, and he suddenly broke down after saying something odd. (Perhaps it was because of their fight?) she thought to herself. After all, this was the first time the brother fought one another after James returned here. "I know it must be tough what you two went through," she uttered like a mother while calming him down with the strokes of her fingers on his back. She sighed heavily. "But you only have each other now. You shouldn't make an enemy out of your brother," she murmured. "You don't know how family rivalry happens," Eros retorted before lifting his head from her shoulders and wiping the tears away from his face. "But that's not what I was crying about," he explained with a chuckle. Her brows furrowed and she tilted her head. "Why were you crying then?" she asked as she grabbed the clean cloth and dabbed it on his face to clean his wounds. "I just found someone who I
THE FOLLOWING morning, Eros' face became better and less swollen than yesterday. He received a formal letter asking him to meet Reyna in a specific location. He wondered what that woman wanted that she requested to meet in a secluded place and to keep this a secret between her, and the brothers. However, he has no intention of staying in the same room as James. He will be going to this suspicious meeting without him to save himself the headache. He could possibly think of many ways of this being an ambush since Reyna was already seen at the mall where their informant was killed when the information about Keisha was about to be revealed. Either way, Eros already knew Keisha like the back of his hand."It was a bait," Eros murmured. He used the informant to reveal those helping Keisha. Eros drove to the location where Reyna wanted to meet him. Guards followed him, and all of them were hidden in plain sight. The building was scanned first before Eros was safe to enter. No one else was
EROS waited for more than two hours but Keisha's mother never came. This was the only exception that he had to wait for someone yet it turned out to disappoint him. Expecting nothing more from this meeting, he left the facility. He stepped outside and inhaled the fresh and cold hair. He sighed heavily, creating a mist around his mouth. "Investigate where Reyna Lexington is," he instructed his men before walking back to his car. He looked at the time before driving the long way back home. Upon arriving back at the mansion, He saw Keisha looking down on her balcony. She stared at him intensely before going back inside the house. Eros side heavily, as he thought of telling Keisha what had happened earlier. After gathering his thoughts, he walked upstairs and knocked on her door. "I'm going to sleep," she declared, rejecting him from entering. He knocked again and said, "Your mother wanted to meet me but she never came." The door suddenly opened and Keisha looked at him with a baffled
SEBASTIAN watched the whole scenario play out. His sniper aimed his gun toward Shadow but he stopped him from firing his shot. "Let him escape," he instructed and the man put his gun down. Sebastian put out the cigar he was smoking and looked at the moon. "Chase Reyna down. Bring her body back to me," he instructed. "Her body?" The sniper furrowed his eyebrows, realizing what their leader meant. "I want her dead." A few of the assassins entered their assigned cars and started following the car she was inside. Reyna realized this and asked the driver to make the drive fast. The gunshots stopped once they made it to the main road. Unexpectedly, they stumbled upon the heavy traffic. "Too many casualties can happen here… use every car on our way as a shield," she instructed while struggling to keep the pain she was feeling under control. The driver fastened his pace and maneuvered the steering wheel to get in front of cars, creating more of a traffic, and slowing down the assassins a
CRYING inside the morgue, Keisha hugged her mother's body. She cried puddles of tears but her heart and mind was not grieving. She asks herself who would do this bold move to kill Reyna, and kill her in the process too. The car successfully reached the mansion yet when her stepmother tried to get out, the car then exploded. She was in shock at the time. If Eros didn't react quickly, she would have possibly been injured badly, or even died. If she didn't need to act like a worried daughter, that situation would've been avoided entirely. "She was the best… partner I have ever had," Sebastian, on the other side of the table, mourning over her death. Putting up a facadé to fool everyone in the room that he was deeply devastated. The doctor, James, and some mafia members were in the room with them. He cried like a hopeless husband without a direction in life now that his wife is dead. "I can't live without you, Reyna!" he screamed with his fake fear and agony. He continued crying with h
SHADOW was found and he desperately tried to escape but nevertheless failed. He was dragged back to Sebastian who was eager to know why he helped Reyna escape. Of course, he wouldn't budge and say a damn thing to the old man. "You didn't think she'd survive, did you?" he asked, like Shadow was pathetic to even think of such a thing. He chuckled loudly before punching him across the face. The chains on Shadow's feet and hand kept him in place. "If you're too curious to know, Reyna died in a car explosion," he explained and Shadow's eyes widened. "Shame it didn't kill Eros, I would've hit two birds with one stone…" He sighed before grabbing a metal rod and putting it above a burning stove specifically for the purpose of molding glass. The metal would be hot enough yet undamaged, and will keep its shape. "You will be kept here, in this darkness, until Keisha's mission is over." The metal rod turned red and Sebastian lifted it and showed it to Shadow. He could see the old man's evil s
"Who are you?" Shadow asked as he coughed loudly. The footsteps got closer until they stopped in front of him. He looked up and saw the man wearing a mask and wearing all white clothing, slightly visible inside the room because of the light coming inside the door. Daimon grabbed his chin and scanned his face from left to right. "You look familiar…" he murmured before getting closer to Shadow's fucked up face. "You do too." Shadow spat out blood as he coldly stared at him, realizing who he was. The assassin who attacked Keisha who wore white clothes to stain himself with the blood of the people he killed was standing in front of Shadow now. "So you're working for Sebastian?" he asked with a scoff and the assassin's eyebrows rose. He let go of Shadow's chin and scratched his head. "I'm here to kill him," Daimon uttered with a grunt and Shadow's eyes widened. The man bent down and sighed as he stared at his face again. "I have nothing to do with him…" Shadow grabbed his chains. "Let
