Johnny replied pridefully, “Of course I am—”

“How many awards have you won? Do you have any mind-blowing works? How many exhibitions have you had? What is the greatest achievement of your career?”

Johnny’s face turned a deeper shade of red with every question North asked.

Finally, she cocked her head sideways and said, “As far as I know, you don’t have an answer for any of the questions I asked. In that case, it’s obvious you’re not some big shot. What’s wrong with my inability to recognize you, then?”

She was right. If a designer had never won any awards or produced neither a noteworthy work nor held an exhibition… Then was it so strange that other people could not recognize him?

Household name designers were at least as good as Leon Sullivan or Star. Who was Johnny Carter compared to them?
