Gerald’s smile widened. He approached North and held the prickly woman softly in his arms. “This is Reina’s third favor. Once I complete it, I won’t have anything to do with her anymore.”

North was stunned. “Her third request is for you to go on this ski trip with her?”

Gerald replied, “Yes.”

North found this strange. Anyone else would kill for three favors from Gerald. It was obvious that Reina could ask for something much better. Why was her last request so simple?
