16: You Ruined My Day

Abby’s POV

When he abruptly rose up and offered his hand to me, I found myself staring at him with every beating of my heart.

"Where are we going?" I asked him as if I still had any doubts about what he was capable of doing to me,

"Don't you trust me?"

I declined by shaking my head. "Not really,"

"We are going for a walk, exploring the island, don't you want that?"

I keep staring at him with furrowed eyebrows, "Only Exploring?"

"Yes, Darling. What else is in your little mind thinking?" He asked with a sarcastic tone and a soft laugh.

I uttered an audible gasp and had an unpleasant thought because he had just informed me that I must consume a large amount of food because he would tire me out today, and I was unaware he meant walking.

“N-Nothing.”

He grabbed my hand as we walked together, but I got away from him, put my hands in my pockets, and looked around to see the beautiful scenery. This island's green scenery makes me want to live here forever, but not with this Mafia man.
