20. Hellish life

Abby’s POV

As we got into his car, Fabian said, "Well, I didn't know you could tease your sister like that." I made a frustrated face and said, "It's because she makes everything hard for me to handle."

Then Fabian said, "Wait a minute, I have to take this call." He answered the call from one of his men, then his face turned dark, and he yelled, "What? The deal didn't go through? So what happened to all the weapons we trade?!"

“What’s going on?”

"Abby, don't ask a question!" He was in a bad mood and said he was going to park the car in one of his hotel buildings. "You'll be here for a day, so don't do anything wrong, okay? I'll be gone in five hours, so you have to stay here." He told his men to take me into the hotel, and they did. The staff greeted me with a smile and said, "Hello, Mrs. Collins, please go this way."

I didn't even get a chance to ask him what was wrong, so I am guessing that one of his business transactions failed today.
