138. Andrew's suspicions

Alice felt something different this morning. She didn't want to wake up from her beautiful dream, so she chose to stretch both arms, sweeping across her bed. Although it was impossible for Andrew to be by her side, Alice felt his presence in her room. Even her sense of smell could distinctly capture Andrew's scent that filled the room. Alice was immersed in this fleeting happiness for quite some time until the sound of knocking on the door interrupted her.

"Liz, let's have breakfast! There's a riot going on in my stomach," Lexy invited, opening the door. Lexy stood at the doorway while observing what Alice was doing.

"You go ahead. I want to take a shower first. I feel so stuffy," Alice replied, slowly opening her eyes.

"Alright, I'll eat first," Lexy replied and quickly closed Alice's bedroom door before leaving.

Alice rose and raised both hands to tidy her hair, which seemed to be unusually messy. Her eyebrows furrowed, trying to recall her dream from last night.
