*Lauren's Pov*

It was finally time to go back to our apartment. The first day of the get-together was over and I couldn't help but be pleased.

If there's anything I hate, it's meetings, very large meetings.

And I couldn't wait to get out of this place.

We were heading to the car, by 'we', I meant, I, my dear Riley, Christian Asher and his pa, whose name I still can't seem to memorize by now.

"Miss?" Damien called. Damien? Yeah, that was his name.

"Oh, sorry" I said when I realized I was standing still by the door while the rest had entered and at that moment, Riley got out of the car when she must have realized I hadn't enter.

"Is everything okay?" She asked, worried. "Yeah, totally" I said with a little smile.

"Thanks" I said to Damien, as I entered the back seat where Christian was already seated.

He must have been wondering what was happening as our eyes met immediately I entered. He looked away while I had my seat.

The drive to the hotel was as before, quiet.
