MAYRA'S POV
"WHO DID THIS TO YOU, MAYRA?"
His question ranged like someone had just splashed a whole bucket full of cold water over my head. My fingers went to my upper back and I slowly traced them over scars which were present there. They felt warm under my cold fingers and then a sudden feeling of nausea hit me.
Pressing my eyes shut, I struggled to breath and mentally tried to avoid his question.

MAYRA'S POV His facial expressions changed the second next when I said I wanted to tell him the real reason behind our wedding. His eyes flickered with blank emotions and his fists clenched on the side. Although no hint of dark emotions were visible on his face but still I had a little feeling that this was just a silence before storm. Would he be angry after knowing the truth? I blinked my eyes in hesitation and licked my dried lips before looking directly into his hypnotizing eyes which were again devoid of everything. "You couldn't be selfish." He mumbled under his breath but I swear I heard each and every word of his sentence. I parted my lips to say something but stopped from doing so when he averted his gaze from me to fix it on the edge of the bed. Those raw expressions which were plastered over his face were turning dee

VISHAL'S POV"Dude what's your problem?" Max asked in irritation, forcing a gulp of alcohol down his throat. I chuckled lightly and snatched that bottle away from his hold and took a sip.Gross.It was something damn strong which almost burnt my throat. MAYRA'S POVEventually everything falls on its place when the time is right. Not a second earlier and neither a second later. Maybe that's how Vishal and Tara were destined to be together again. Nothing could make me happier than the fact that my two friends are in content now. I've seen

REHAN’S POV"Mayra please. Don’t leave me alone. I need you. Please.” I pleaded, holding her warm wrist in between my finger. She looked at me with a soft smile making my lips twitch in content but then a second next, her smile disappeared from her beautiful face and with a blank look she pulled her hand away from me.“No. Please. MAYRA’S POVYour lie might have broken me Mayra and I swear I don’t want to hurt you but I know I will never be able to control myself from not hurting you, if you ever cross my path again. So that’s why it would be better for both of us if you quietly stay away from me, forever.I stood in front of closed door, outside. His words ran over and over again in my mind like an acid burning on all my thinking capacity. A sudden blow of chill breeze crossed my body and I shivered slightly.Br
MAYRA'S POV"Come on Mayra. You are no fun." Tara said with a roll of her eyes and huffed in annoyance. I licked my dry lips and stared at my wedding ring. The diamond ring shined brightly unlike my relationship with Rehan. It's been almost a month since we had even shared a conversation. After that night when he told me that I had broken his trust, since then nothing was normal between us. He even sleeps into another room. Every day he goes to his office without even sparing a gl

MAYRA'S POV“Rehan, why do I need a blindfold in my own house?" I asked him but like last ten minutes, he didn't cleared my confusion. He tighten his grip on my wrist and guided me.“Rehan." I whined and a melodic sound of his chuckle ran through my ears.“Patience." He said in a husky voice, touching his lips to my ear. MAYRA'S POVPeople die but memories don't. The memories are like a sky full of stars, so beautiful yet unreachable. We can look at them and smile but couldn't complete the urge to get closer to them. REHAN'S POVShe went with Max for having some private conversation. I shouldn't feel this uneasiness right? She's pure hearted and after she become aware of my past, she has no choice but to hate me. After all how can I expect her to not hate me when I already hate myself?
REHAN'S POV“When I was seventeen, I shifted to new school, there only I met Max and Vishal. Due to everything, I wasn't the one to talk much but they both especially Max showed me that what friendship meant. As time passed by, I became more attached to them. It felt good to at least have someone by my side after the death of Riya. I started forgetting about my pain through them. Then one day, Max introduced her sister to me. Zara her name was Zara. I took an instant liking in her, just as a friend. She used to chatter n
MAYRA'S POVMy legs automatically stopped working as I saw something unusual in this house. Since the day I've stepped here, I've always seen a room near the corner which remained locked. But today, it was open. Strange. Is Rehan had unlocked that door? But what could be inside that it was locked from so long? For feeding my curiosity, I decided to go inside the room and have the answer of my questions. The first thing which I noticed after entering inside was Rehan who stood in the middle with his back facing me. As I shifted my gaze towards the surrounding, my eyes went w

It's been six years since s
MAYRA'S POVYou can do this Mayra. I repeated over and over again the same thing in my mind, pressing my fingers firmly over the doorknob. What else can happen except that he might be angry, hurt, disappointed, sad or maybe something more? I have to face him, if it means tolerating his anger which I know right now must be at its best. How long can I avoid him and why would I do so when I've done nothing wrong? I agree I should have not gone to that club but now I couldn't change it. What's done was done. Now all I can do is to somehow make him believe that I
