In the throes of Danger

"Aha!" Judith exclaims suddenly, seeing what she has been searching for right above her head. "Here it is." She pulls down the small peach coloured box above the shelf and smiles.

Ivy watches her curiously, she had been looking for that hours on end while keeping her in conversation, asking about her parents, educational background, life's dreams and wishes and all those unimportant things just to keep Ivy from becoming bored or sleeping off, although Ivy wouldn't have slept off even if the place was silent.

Judith opens the box and brings out the one dress that's neatly folded inside the box.

Ivy's eyes light up. "Wow."

"Right? I love this dress so much but I couldn't wear it on my own wedding..." Judith leans in and whispers "I ended up eating too much the night before due to wedding jitters so it didn't fit the the next day. You can have it."
