Cora's POV~

"Beep! Beep!"

"Come on pick up dammit!" I cussed as I sped down the freeway. Did he really think I would stay quiet? He hadn't made a move in weeks. I had called him multiple times and he wasn't picking up. I sure hoped he wasn't avoiding me 'cause there'd be telling what I would do.

"Buzzz!" The vibration of my phone alerted me. I quickly picked it up as I drove steered with one hand. Looking at the screen, it was him.

"Hello?" I answered brashly. I wasn't in the mood for any pleasantries or unnecessary greetings.

"Good afternoon Cora. You wanted to speak to me?" He asked in his usual calm voice. It usually pissed me off as he always sounded like he was sure of everything.

"Are you at home now? 'cause I'm coming over to your place now" I said. I needed to speak to him in person.

"Yes I am. I'll be expecting you then" he said as he hung up. I placed the phone down and hit the gas. I certainly couldn't wait to give him a piece of my mind.
