Cora's POV

"Thud!" I shut the door as I walked in. I could barely walk straight. I think I had too much to drink. Walking into the living room, I was surprised to see my dad sitting on his chair and staring at me. He looked a bit angry, which was weird. He rarely ever gets mad at me.

"Geez, you almost gave me a heart attack" I said as I placed my hand on my chest.

"Where are you coming from?" He asked. That was weird. I'm an adult for Pete's sake. What did he mean 'where was I coming from'?

"Went out with my friends" I said, "Any problem?" I asked, feeling skeptical about his odd behavior today.

"Come with me" he said as he stood up and walked off. Urrghh! I was hella tired. Why couldn't it wait? Angrily, I followed him. We arrived at his study where he took a seat on his swivel chair behind the desk.
