Seeing this, Madeline quickly squatted. “Hannah, Hannah.”

She called out twice but Hannah did not respond.

“Jeremy, she seems to have passed out.”

Jeremy's deep gaze stayed on Hannah's face for two seconds. Then, he reached out and helped Madeline up.

“I'll call for an ambulance now, Linnie. Don't touch her.”

“What’s going on? Who is this? Why is she unconscious?” Karen held her little grandson and walked up suspiciously.

Hannah looked very battered right now, so Karen did not recognize that this was the woman who had made a fuss in Whitman Corporation’s lobby before this. When she saw that Hannah was on the ground, she summoned the servants out of sympathy.

“It's not appropriate to lie on the ground in this cold weather. Help her up first and let her lie down for a while on the sofa.”

The servants understood what Karen was asking them to do and worked together to lift Hannah.

“Who were those people? Were they just a bunch of hooligans?” Karen asked.
