“Mom’s maiden family might be the Fishers of Jensburg, and her parents might’ve been killed by the Fishers’ current family head. If Mom is really a Fisher, then the family head is my second aunt and possibly Mom’s enemy who killed her parents.”

Elisa simply told her dad what happened.

When Mr. Stone heard what she said, he knew things were bad.

He immediately said to her, “Okay, I’ll go back now. It’s not that I don’t want to stay by your mom’s side. She said the fish in the river is more delicious grilled, so I come here every day to fish for her.”

Mr. Stone loved his wife the most in his life. How could he leave her alone and only care about his happiness?

He had been going fishing every day lately because of what his wife said.

Elisa replied to him, “Drive slowly when you come back later.”

“Got it.”

Mr. Stone quickly hung up and collected his rod, ready to go home to keep his wife company.
