Chapter 49. I Love You, I Do

It was getting dark. The sky was getting redder.

Clarabelle continued to steer the car a little out of town, slightly up on the side of the housing. Arriving there, Clarabelle got out of the car and looked at the scene before her eyes. On that side was where Clarabelle spent her time when she came home from school. Sometimes she listened to songs while gazing at the beauty of the city in the distance. Sometimes she drew pictures of the beauty of the sky decorated with clouds that drift endlessly.

Jordan stood by Clarabelle's side, watching the city begin to fill with twinkling lights. The red sky was getting darker. There was no moon, only a few stars here and there, twinkling in the sky.

“I love seeing all the beauty. But it was not usually this dark,” said Clarabelle. Her eyes remained straight ahead.

“You know the romantic place.” Jordan spread his arms, he hugged Clarabelle tightly. "Pleasant trip."

Clarabelle's heart rumbled. She was relieved that her choice to take Jordan to tha
