Chapter 48. A Surprise for Clarabelle
Crystal stepped closer to James. She handed the man a few sheets of paper, mentioning a few names Clarabelle had never known before. From the look on James' face, he didn't really like it. But James didn't refuse the sheet that was handed to him. Clarabelle knew what James was holding. They were several check sheets.
"Granny, you are always been like this," James grumbled. "They already get the appropriate salary from the office."
"It doesn’t matter. What's wrong with giving them? Let them have more blessings, James. Thank you, dear." Crystal tapped James on the shoulder, asking him not to protest what Crystal did.
