Chapter 143

Sophia's heart did a backflip. She already had her suspicions about William but the images that were displayed on the screen of her laptop took her suspicions to a whole nother level. Sophia could not believe her eyes.

Her gaze hardened. A feeling of hatred came upon her. She had wanted to be sad and devastated but something inside of her commanded her to be angry.

"This bastard, how could he?" Her forehead wrinkled.

Sophia stood to her feet without breaking eye contact from the screen. She pushed her chair backwards and slowly moved away, her face hardened with anger.

She was feeling a turmoil inside of her.

"Father worked for William. He worked all those years for William and yet he killed him over money. That wasn't enough for him, he planned and hurt my sister. William is the cause of our misfortune" she said slowly in realization. Not only had he caused pain to her in their marriage, he also caused pain to her family as well.
