(Emily’s POV).

“Who is he?” asked Mike once we reached the warehouse. He asked his men who were handling the unknown man.

They seemed hesitant to tell him and even looked at each other until Mike cleared his throat and they looked at him steadily.

“Ben's cousin, sir. It's Gregor.”

My eyes widened in surprise because I knew him so well. Of course, I knew Ben's cousin because we played together a lot.

I covered my lips with my hand in my own shock while I was already trembling just hearing his name.

It wasn't about my fear of Gregor, but my nervousness that finally one of his family had seen me and Mike together and even seemed so intimate.

“You still want to come meet him?” asked Mike, looking at me. I’m sure he asked that because he knew I knew Gregor.

I breathed in and out as I nodded. He was still holding my hand and leading me inside when I finally saw that Gregor had his hands and feet completely tied.
