Marriage Proposal

Watching the clouds sail across the sky, Jiang Xiuying took a deep breath. Clenching her fist, she felt a surge of different emotions rise in her.

She was finally going to see Zheng Tianyi after five years of being apart from him. 

Sigh....It's funny how fate teases us.

Looking at the glass walled restaurant, it was safe to say it had been reserved by Zheng Tianyi. No single soul was present in the restaurant.

Xiuying scoffed. " Privacy my butt" It was finally time. Time to see Zheng Tianyi after five years. Her time of revenge is near.

She entered the restaurant and was led upstairs by the receptionist to a room that resembled a bookstore?

" Wait a bit. Mr Zheng would join you shortly " The receptionist informed and left. She came earlier than the agreed time so it was normal for him not to be present yet.

Taking the opportunity he wasn't around, she decided to walk a bit around the bookstore. It consisted to giant shelves on each sides of the room and two chairs opposite each other placed beside the glass wall with a splendid view of the outside world.

Xiuying could imagine how awesome the view from there would be at night. 

Time flies fast. Before she knew it, she had spent about an hour appreciating the interiors of the room she was. She quickly adjusted the bangs of her shiny silver hair. There was no need to apply a make up on her naturally smooth skin. She had only applied a lip balm on her full pink lips. Still, her beauty was radiating enough to make the sun pale in comparison.

In the next ten minutes, Zheng Tianyi would arrive. Her heart was jumping in both nervousness and excitement but she managed to calm it down with the thought that he doesn't even remember her. 

That was the real truth. He has no recollection of their past or her. They would be basically stranger's on their first meeting. 

It would be a new beginning for both of them. A new opportunity for her to set things right and fulfil her kids wish.

The sound of the opening door was enough to make Xiuying's calmed heart start palpitating once again. She had to pinch herself to prevent herself from flying into his arms.

Jiang Xiuying finally raised her head seeing his shiny black Italian leather shoes. 

She looked at the face she longed to caress. So near yet so far. His cold russet eyes casually glanced at her. It felt a bit intimidating and unfamiliar unlike his warm eyes that she was used to. 

Although it was just a brief glance, he was unable to get rid of her beautiful face that had gotten a space in his brain. Her appearance carefully engraved in his heart.

Xiuying was lost in thought looking at his ever handsome face. His usually warm face had been replaced with aloofness and arrogance. His easy going vibes had been replaced with an imposing aura that seemed suffocating.

Zheng Tianyi smirked seeing her in a daze. He didn't bother to go through the formality of introduction himself.

Han Sen whose presence hadn't been noticed coughed to gain her attention. " Can we get to business?" He greeted her out of respect but she was too engrossed looking at the specimen before her.

Zheng Tianyi sat down and elegantly crossed his legs. Expecting her to do the same.

Xiuying pinched herself to bring her lost soul back to reality. She successfully managed to sit facing him.

" I will make this as fast as possible. I don't have the intention of transferring the shares to you. It wasn't my fault in the first place that you were very slow to react to a given opportunity. The 30% shares is very precious to me in some ways. " 

Zheng Tianyi's eyes darkened when she called him a slow person. 

He was only 24 hours late okay?!

Seeing he didn't reply, she brought out a contract and pushed it on the table that separated them.

" I gave it a thought and decided to do this. I didn't get the contact through monetary exchange and I'm willing to do the same for you. The shares would be given to you for free" She uttered every single word slowly but clearly.

Han Sen was quick to pass the document to his boss.

Zheng Tianyi began going through the contract.

" Of course, you just need to sign the contract then the shares would be under your name. We can discuss about it if you have a problem with any of the clause written there so it can be revised." Xiuying reclined on the chair. She was trying really hard to maintain her role as the person who has the upper hand. If not for what she wants in return, she would have willingly transferred the shares to him.

The temperature of the room kept on dropping by degrees as Zheng Tianyi continued reading the contract. He smirked and his cold gaze rested on him.

" What do you mean by this" He asked as he threw the Contract back on the table.

A cupid arrow shot through Xiuying's heart seeing him smirk. There were both in different worlds.

" Just like I said, if there is anything you wish to change we can talk about it." 

She flipped her shiny silver hair backwards and flashed him a wide smile with her pearly white teeth peeking out of her supple lips. " Marry me then the shares becomes yours"

Han Sen eyes snapped open and turned to the petite courageous lady that just made a statement.

" Do you even know what you want?"

" Of course, I almost went bankrupt after purchasing the shares. I need a big thigh to hold." 

" If I remember correctly, you blackmailed Fu Jing and Chen Yi to get them transfer their shares to you." Zheng Tianyi's lips  curled up in satisfaction seeing her blush in embarrassment.

" It was not my fault that they were scum. I only thought them the right lesson. In their next life, they wouldn't cheat on their wives." Jiang Xiuying laughed sheepishly.
