Eve's POV

"Hey" I said to Helen in a friendly tone.

She was rinsing her hand in the sink, i brought out the Kitchen napkin and gave it to her when she was done.

"Thank you" She said as she dried her hands with the napkin.

"You are welcome" I smiled while I also washed my hands in the sink.

She looked at me, puzzled because I was being all nice and it was obvious I wanted to join her in cooking.

"An helping hand" I told her..

"O...k"

"Your name is Eve right?" She asked me..

"Yup! Eve" I responded.. she gave me the napkin when I was done rinsing my hands.

"Are you Liam's new girlfriend?" She asked me.

"What?" I blurted.

"No. I'm not his girlfriend" I told her and she chuckled as she moved to the fridge and shoved out some lettuces leaves.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"Errrmm.. ..Mr Maya's new wife?" I told her the truth.

"What d' hell?" She exclaimed. "Ewwwwww"

"Errrrr... I was only joking" I quickly said and laughed it off instantly and she laughed too.

"You are funny. Very funny" She said then began to rinsed the leaves.

"Lettuce wraps right?" I changed the topic by asking her what she wanted to cook.

"Yeah" She replied.

I took some onions and started slicing it on a chopping board.

When she was done rinsing the lettuce, she set the fire on the gas cooker then placed a fry pot on it then she came back to meet me.

I knew she wanted me to introduce myself properly butshe didn't even believe me when I told her I was Mr Maya's new wife.

"I'm Liam's cousin" Okay, I lied to her.

"Really? I didn't know Liam has a cousin.." She said and I almost cut my finger.

 Liam has no cousin? Shit! She found out I'm lying already.

"Of course, he would have a cousin. I just didn't know he has a close family member because I have never since anyone here in my five years of working with Mr Maya" Helen said and I smiled.

Say no more please.

Lies creates more lies. I don't wanna tell more lies.

"Here is the onions" I handed over the chopping board to her.

"Thank you. You are making my work easier"

"My pleasure" I smiled.

I stood there and watched her do the rest of the cooking.

I needed someone to open up to, Helen would have been the person but I just lied to her now. She might not want to be my friend when she finds out the truth.

When the food was ready, I assisted her in arranging the dining table. Mr Maya was surprised and he verbally told me to stop it without Helen noticing but I ignored him and continued till the table was set.

And Liam came to the dinning table at the right time.

"Helen Will you join us, so we can have dinner as one big family?" Mr Maya asked her.

"No thank you" She said and hung her bag around her neck as she set to leave.

"I've already packed my meal" she added.

"I'm not complaining. You can still join us" He persuaded. Liam on the other hand has started eating.

"Thank you" she repeated and faced me.

"It's nice meeting you Eve" She smiled at me then headed to the door.

"Same here" For no reason, I followed her to the door.

"Thank you once again. You are nothing like your cousin" Oh Good, she said that in a whisper..

Liam and Mr Maya didn't hear that.

I smiled and watched her leave then I returned to the dinning table to meet Mr Maya and his son, Liam.

Seriously both of them scares me.. especially now that I'm alone with them

Mr Maya is a pedophile while his son doesn't even like me.

"But what are you still doing here?" Liam shouted at me when I pulled a chair to sit on.

"Any problem? She's my visitor"

"A visitor should come and go right? I feel so irritated by her shameless attitude. Disgusting!" Liam said.

"Liam!" His father scolded.

"It's.. it's fine" I said, forcing out a smile as I began to eat.

"Well I don't blame her" Liam said and continue eating.

I can see that he feels really irriated by my presence. I don't get he is like this.

I stood up and carried my meal tray, I wanted to excuse them and go to my room.

"Don't go" Mr Maya held my hand..

Liam scoffed, stood up then went away with his foodtray.

I sat down reluctantly.

"Don't worry, as time goes on, my son would get used to you and respect you as his step mom" Mr Maya assured me. I know it can never be possible. Never!

I kept on giving a false smile. I ate slowly because I I lost my appetite already.

I woke up very early the next morning, probably because my body is yet to adapt to this environment. I went to the living room, only to meet Mr Maya getting all set for work.

"Oh you woke up at the right time" He said giving me a peck on my forehead.

I smiled.

"I usually leave for work at this time" He told me.

"I can see that" I said and adjusted his tie. He didn't knot it well.

"Thank you baby" He said holding my waist and I chuckled.

"Can you get me a cup of coffee" He requested.

"Right away" I quickly went to prepare it for him.

I don't know what's wrong with me? I'm acting all good and calm.

"Exactly how I want it" Mr Maya said and sipped the coffee at once.

"Did you get Helen's phone number yesterday?" He asked me.

"Not at all"

"Why? I can see you two are friends already"

Friend? Uhm...

"I... Uhm, I don't have a cell phone" I told him.

"Oh My God, I would have gotten you one yesterday, didn't we pass by a mall?" He quaried but I didn't say anything.

"It's not too late hun" He added

"I guess there are a lot of things I have to give to you when I return" He said and spanked my butt.

"And there is something you will give to me in return too" He whispered in a s*xual tone.

And I smiled and tried to be seductive and s*xy.

I swear I didn't know how those words escaped from my mouth.

"Should we have some quickie before I leave?" He asked me.

"Good Morning Liam" I tried not to stammer because I was so scared of him.

"But what are you doing here? What are you still doing here? Hasn't he paid for the nights he spent with you already? Isn't it high time for you leave? Or How many nights did he book for?" He yelled at me.

"What?" I muttered.

"Look here Eve or whatever your name is, I know you are one of my Dad's concubines. Yeah I'm aware he brings different whores home to keep his company when my brother and I are away. I didn't know what to say or explain to him that his father only forced himself on me yesterday... And we almost had s*x.
