"Keep working and don't resign. I'll give you one more chance, and I hope you won't betray me," Marvin said to Emily, who was now standing in front of him.

"You're… serious?" Emily asked, wide-eyed.

Emily smiled. "I will never betray you; I promise," she said.

"Good! Then you should thank my wife because she's the one who asked me not to let you leave this company."
