Kiara's pov

The resort for me was like a beautiful dream but then we knew that was eventually time to wake up but that was not the only thing that I was waking up to. My husband that has put me to bed with passionate love making just the night before woke up acting as cold as a fish that is out of the water the passion that was burning inside of him just the night before looked as if it had completely dissipated and he was not even staring at me at all before it was as if he could not even take his eyes off of me.

But now it looked as if he was actively trying to avoid having to look at me and I tried to pretend that it didn't hurt but it wasn't so easy especially since his attitude was so strange and different from how he had been treating me. I thought that maybe he was just thinking about our return today and how we were going to settle back into the flow of things when we got back home so I tried not to think too deeply about it.
