Valentina endured the pressure in her heart, reached the president's office, and knocked on the door, trembling.

"Come in."

She exhaled heavily and entered the president's office with a feigned smile.

"President. " Valentina smiled and stepped forward, showing the best attitude " This morning... I'm so sorry... I thought you blamed me for eating your breakfast."

Valentina pulled out the service she had just bought. "I bought this for him. I don't know what she usually eats. I eat this in the morning. Haven't you eaten yet? Eat it while it's hot."

Nathan stared at her with an arched eyebrow. Then he looked at the breakfast in his hand, showing an affronted expression.

"What's that? You think I eat this kind of food?"

"Uh... " Valentina bit her lip in embarrassment. She felt very aggrieved. She wanted to remedy this morning's mistake. She barely smiled and asked, "Sir, what do you want to eat? I'll buy it for you."

"No need. "Nathan waved his hand and told her to leave. "Go away; you have other duties.

"Tasks? "Valentina asked.

"The wedding announcement, remember? The news is of a public nature. There is a press conference about the new project, and I will mention our marriage at once; I have already announced it on the company's website.

"So soon?" Valentina opened her mouth in surprise. "No wonder they congratulated her when she arrived at the company just now."

"What, are you taking it back? I remind you that you signed a contract."

She was quick to deny it.

"No, no, Sir. It's just...I didn't expect you to be so quick."

"I don't like to do things slowly."

"It's okay, I understand " Valentina nodded, gesturing with her head.

"Besides. " Nathan looked her up and down with scrutiny. "Wait here; I organized someone to prepare you for the event."

"Prepare me?"

"Yes, you must dress appropriately as the wife of a CEO," Nathan replied with disdain.

"Proper clothes?"

Valentina glanced at the company uniform on her body.

"The black suit, is it wrong?"

Though she thought it in her heart, she had already agreed with a YES.

The office was silent again for a moment, just the sound of the keyboard from when Nathan started typing. Soon makeup artists, stylists, and the wardrobe manager appeared.

Valentina couldn't help but sigh; money doesn't buy happiness, but great peace of mind.

"Miss Lewis, prepare her properly," ordered Nathan, seeing them leaving the office.

"Count on it. I promise to give the president a beautiful wife " Miss Lewis smiled ambiguously.

Marta Lewis is the company's top makeup artist for several famous artists. Nathan specially invited her today. "Is she really that inadequate?"

Valentina twisted her lips; it shouldn't be that bad either; she was still very popular with the guys.

Surrounded by a few people, they arrived at the lounge.

"Come on, lady, close your eyes."

"Come on, open your mouth."

"Yes... Put this on."

"Oh, madam, your underwear is not suitable. Let's change to a more suitable one."

"Let's fix the hair."

Was this necessary?

Like a doll, Valentina was moved back and forth. Each time she was called "LADY," the fear in her heart increased.

"Did she do the right thing?"

Outside the room, hunger attacked Nathan's stomach.

About to pull out his phone and let his secretary buy some food, he suddenly caught a glimpse of the breakfast Valentina had placed on the desk. With his stomach growling, he stretched his arm toward the desk and ate breakfast.

It smelled good.

He took a tentative bite. It turned out to be pretty good.

"What do you call this stuff?"

Nathan shrugged and took another bite, another bite, and tasted another bite ...

Finally, he nodded with satisfaction, and when he saw the two wrappers of steak sandwiches he had eaten in his hand, he groaned for a moment that Valentina hadn't bought more.

Valentina was still being moved from side to side in the living room.

"Ready " Miss Lewis gave an order, and Valentina could hardly not help but smile at the sky.

"At last, they had finished; it was the call of Freedom!"

" Wow! You are wonderful; the president has a good eye" The woman looked at Valentina with admiration.

She smiled shyly and turned to look at herself in the mirror.

The very straight blonde hair fell elegantly on her shoulders, and her intense green eyes with her long eyelashes blinked and blinked, not being able to believe what they saw; her warm skin gave a sensual touch to her outfit, the black colored tube skirt and the red blouse in combination, with her Jimmy Choo shoes, make the whole person charming and sensual.

"I can't deny that it's beautiful... after all, it's not so bad this arrangement."

"No wonder the president jumped at the marriage," stylist Pedro exclaimed. "Madam, you are a beautiful woman."

Valentina just smiled politely.

"Okay, well, we should get out now and show the president," Miss Lewis nudged Valentina with evident satisfaction. "I'm very pleased with the result."

Nathan heard the doorknob open, and when he looked up, he felt his heartbeat quicken; his heart might have been beating out of his chest.

The curvy figure in that black skirt, and striking green eyes, happened to be his nominal wife, and she was beautiful.

"Wait, why the hell does he find her attractive?"

" Well?" the woman asked expectantly.

"You did a good job " Nathan stood up from the chair, hiding the surprise in his eyes " You really did a hard job to achieve such a result; I will compensate you with an extra bonus for such hard work."

"Oh, Thank you, sir. " The woman smiled slightly, not understanding the president's indifferent attitude towards his wife; she thought no more about it and said goodbye - Then, I'll leave you two alone.

"Yes," Nathan nodded.

When the woman left, Valentina unnaturally blocked her chest with her arms. She secretly nagged Nathan in her heart.

"What the hell did she mean by that? She had done a hard job?"

"Are you ready? Let's go?" she asked as she held out her elbow for him to put his arm in.

"Where are we going?"

"The press conference.

"What?" Valentina asked with wide eyes, "Why should I go too?

Nathan wanted to hit her, was she stupid, or was it done?

Stifling her anger, she replied, " No, I dressed you like that so you could show me?!

"Oh, good, good. "The girl nodded quickly, not daring to anger Nathan any further. She walked in her high heels, over to the desk.

" Hey!" I exclaim with a frown " Where are the two steak sandwiches I left here?

"Ahem ... " Nathan said matter-of-factly, " I threw them in the trash."

" What?!" She wanted to cry, but she was also a little upset. "It's okay if you throw yours away. The other one was my breakfast, which I hadn't eaten yet. "The two sandwiches weren't bought just for me?!"

Nathan was unhappy and said arrogantly, "The company will refund your money. It was just cheap food.

She pursed her lips silently, swallowing her anger.

"It was my breakfast; I like to eat that.

"Damn you, arrogant!"

"Okay, let's not waste any more time" Nathan looked at the time and said, "It's getting late; let's go to the press conference first, and then you have breakfast."

"And oppressive, by the way."

Adjusting, her mood took a step forward and held Nathan's arm.

Valentina really does look stunning. When she was in this facet, she was unambiguous and very professional. He was surprised and then smiled.

The two walked side by side toward their newlywed life.
