"Did you find out?" he asked, I blinked, taken aback by the question, my mind going blank as I struggled to form a response.

"What are you talking about? Find out about what?"

"Nothing, never mind," he said as he stood up and moved towards his leather chair. I stood up and followed him.

"I would like to know what you meant by, "Did I find out'."

"Did I say that? I can't remember doing so, never mind Olivia," His gaze flicked to my stomach as it growled, then back to my face as a faint smile appeared on his lips.

"When was the last time you ate something?"

"Since noon."

"Since noon?" He furrowed his brow and looked at his watch, it is 10 p.m. What would you like to eat? I will order some food for you."

"Anything, I will eat anything, preferably seafood and possibly spaghetti Bolognese."
