Panic set in when I realized I was being dragged away from the safety of the open beach. I tried to kick out with my free leg, but the grip was too strong. "Who...who the fuck...?" I tried to hold onto the slipping sand with my voice cutting in my throat, but the pain in my head prevented me from raising my head.

Adrenaline rushed through me as I twisted and turned in an attempt to break free from the attacker's tight grip. My ankle throbbed, but I was not going to give up even though it felt like more than two people were pulling my legs.

Just as I thought I was about to be overpowered, with my heart pounding in my chest like it was going to reap off, I wriggled my feet forcefully and the hand freed me.
