I rang Kaleb's doorbell and stood outside with two full bags of the ingredients I had gathered to cook for him. It was 2: 50 pm, I had left work early in order to finish on time and meet up with Joan. Kaleb needs to cut back on takeout and start eating healthier. I rang the doorbell again and waited, but he did not come out.

I twisted the doorknob, he is not one to always lock his door, especially since it is a secluded compound. The door pushed open, and I walked inside, he was supposed to be home, and his two cars were parked right outside.

I walked towards his kitchen and dropped the bags on his counter as I walked upstairs. I walked towards his bedroom and could hear his voice. Is he with someone? I slowly pushed the door open.

His face turned to the door, and the smile on his face froze, his eyes widened, and he ended his call. I furrowed my brows at him, and I slowly closed the door as I approached him.
