Chapter 31 - Getting on her nerves.

"Lucas, Olivia, what are you doing here? Mia asked, and I could see annoyance in her eyes.

"What do you mean by that, Mia? Am I no longer permitted to stay at my father's house?" With an evil smile on her lips, she parted her lips to speak and then snapped it shut again.

"I see you are too stubborn to give up, Huh." Although it sounded more like a whisper coming from her, I could still clearly hear it. I moved closer to Lucas in an attempt to irritate her and get on her nerves even more, and I was about to say something when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

I knew who it was even before I looked. With the sound of her walking stick and her footsteps, I could tell my grandmother was the one descending the stairs even though she walks quite well, she still wouldn't let go of her walking stick

I looked away from Mia and toward the stairs where my grandmother was coming down. I could see her even from a distance, but I knew that her short sight would prevent her from see
