Chapter Ten: Awakened Beast

The wedding went ahead that same day. Even against her heart and principles Daphne couldn't do anything. There is also a mansion ready for them. But Treyton just let her stay where she wanted to stay. That's why she stays in the guest room.

Daphne can't sleep well every night because every night Treyton brings different women at home and noisily shares their body heat. She always lack of sleep when she comes to the hospital, she can't sleep because of their noise as if she is listening to their grunts and moans.

Today she thought of not going out because she felt bad. She won't wonder why because besides staying up late, she's also tired from work. Here she got to know the maid who were with them better and Manang Sonya was one of them.

Manang Sonya gives her whatever she needs. She also acted as her personal maid because she didn't want anyone else to enter her room. She is currently in the garden and breathing in the breeze. She noticed Treyton's car just arriving. She frowned because it seemed so early.

She wishes that she is not accompanied by another woman because she wants to relax. As much as possible she doesn't want to make noise and think. But what she asked for didn't happen, and the most she couldn't accept was Diane with him.

They just passed her while Diane looked at her with a teasing or envious smile. She clenched her fist. It seems that her sister is crazy because she knows that they are married and even if they don't love each other, she still shouldn't have sex with Treyton.

They didn't know that man who could kill them!

When the two entered inside, Daphne's mind was also restless. What are they doing? Where are they? Her mind has lost her rest and she feels that she will lose consciousness at any moment.

Before that happened, she went inside. She even caught the two kissing and making out in the living room. As if they don't see her. That's why she stopped then she got the courage to approach the two.

"Are you two still shy? Especially you, Diane! Does Mama know you're here and making out with my husband?!" she shouted at them.

"Chill, sister. As far as I know, you don't care if your husband brings a woman here, huh? Then when I can't? When I do, you complain? You hate it." she replied.

Daphne bit her lip because of her sister's stupidity and rudeness. She crossed her arms and glanced at her sister, Diane. She shook her head and then looked at Treyton who was sitting in front of the table and watching them.

"Do what you want. I don't care anymore," she said to her sister then pointed at Treyton. "And you, don't interfere with me whatever I want to do." she said to Treyton.

She tortured the two by just looking at them and then went upstairs to get dressed. Today should be her rest day but she won't be able to rest if she sees the two in her life together. When she left the room she passed Treyton's room. From there, she could hear their grunts and some banging of things.

Before she completely exploded in anger, she hurried out of the house and got into her car. She headed to the nearest bar. And there she poured out her anger. She didn't care if she was drunk but before that happened someone stopped her hand.

"Don't drink too much." the man said.

Daphne saw Theo. She smiled then shook her head. If she didn't know that Theo and Treyton were brothers but different mother, she would think they were twins because they looked alike.

"Does my brother know you're here?" he asked.

"Tsk. What does your brother care if I'm here? Well, I donʼt even care if he brings one, two or three more girls to our house." she replied.

Theo's eyes narrowed because of what he heard. Theo didn't think his brother's wife's mouth was this vulgar. He also didn't expect his big brother to do that because he really didn't want a cheating man, like their father. But that's not how he's known here.

"Then you and my brother can't get along? I still thought you loved each other."

"Oh, really? Who would be so stupid as to believe that there is love between us? Our bullsh*t marriage is a trash!"

Theo was already unconscious. It looks like she's drunk, that's why she's saying something. He took her by the hand and pulled her out of the bar. Fortunately, it stopped howling.

"Where will we go?" instead of her question.

"Mini-store, we'll remove your intoxication before I take you to your home."

"No! No! I don't want to go home!" it's like a child scratching.

"Okay? but let's take away the alcohol spirit in your mind and body."

Theo help Daphne to sat in the front seat. She immediately stopped and then closed its eyes. It looks like sheʼs really close to losing herself and getting drunk forever. He took her to a mini-store and there Theo ordered one liter of ice cream with the flavor of rocky road and vanilla choco swirl, then a bottle of water.

When he got back to the car, he caught Daphne vomiting outside the car. That's why he hurried and rubbed her back and reached for the water.

Daphne looked at Theo with a smile before staring at the ice cream.

"What is that for?" asked Daphne.

"Eat this, to get rid of your drunkenness." he reached out to her.

Daphne frowned. He knows that ice cream doesn't get rid of drunkenness. But this man is different. Really help her just to get rid of her drunkenness. She just accepted that then got into the car and shea eat the ice cream.

They even had a little teasing and conversation. There she got to know the man better. It is far away from its brother Treyton. After all, this is the good boy version of Treyton.

Somehow he lost his thoughts on his brother. He also relaxed and seemed to have made a new friend. Before Theo took Daphne to the mansion, he stopped in an alley where there weren't many cars passing by. He got down and then approached the beggars lying on the side of the road. He gave her food from the mini-store they went to.

It completely captured Daphneʼs heart. Now she was sure that this man had a good heart. Because if not, maybe he will just pass by the beggars. Daphne smiled, now she has someone she can approach and offer additional help to the Hope Foundation. They may also bring only street children to the Foundation.

Their trip was quiet until they reached their house. Daphne shyly got out of his car. It was true that she was drunk and somehow lost her intoxication.

"By the way, thank you, Theo. If you didn't see me there, I'm probably still there and maybe I lost my mind.” she said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Itʼs nothing, sister Daphne."

"Oh, don't call me sister anymore, at least Daphne. I hope next time you can visit here at home so I can make it up to you. I'll cook for you, I promise!"

"Alright, Daphne. When I have free time. I'll go first. Always remember, drink moderately!" he laughed at her warning before getting into the car and driving away from their house.

Daphne faced their house then sighed. She felt heavy again at the thought that Diane might still be here and in bed with Treyton.

She walked into the house. Darkness greeted her inside, which is why she frowned.

"Is there no one? Did they leave?" in her mind.

From the living room she could clearly see the standing bulk of the man. That's why she was staring at it. When she was sure it was a person, she easily found the light switch. When the light spread around, she could clearly see Treyton's dark and angry look at her.

She almost jumped in shock but her annoyance prevailed when she saw it. She intended to walk upstairs and pass him but he walked towards her.

"Why are you and Theo together?" Treyton asked her.

There is anger in his voice. So, he saw her and Theo outside?

"You don't have the right to ask me, because I also don't care about—"

He quickly turned her around and her back hit the hard wall, causing her to cough because of the force of her back. Now Treyton was holding her shoulder tightly. He looked at her intently as if he could hurt her.

Fear prevailed in her whole body.

"Treyton. . . I—I'm hurting."

"What did you do? Answer me?!" he shouted loudly, almost closing her eyes due to fear and trembling.
